We have just completed our FIRST WEEK here in Peachtree City, GA.  It has been a wonderful week with a LOT of things happening.....busy, crazy but all good.

As we left High Point, NC on Monday morning we drove down to Charlotte and met up with Paul and Danette Garrett.  They were so sweet and invited us to a 'working lunch' at their home.  We got to catch up for a minute.  They will be retiring the end of July and probably be heading out on a mission of their own!  Yea for them!!

We arrived on Monday evening, June 23rd, at our apartment around 7:30 p.m.  How fun to finally be 'home'!!!

The Elders met us here to give us our keys and even helped unload our car.

Elder Post carried the WHOLE clothes rod in the house!!

His companion, Elder Thompson, and Elder Post made the move-in so easy!

Our First Meal in our new home......provided by Elder and Sister Rose.....left for us to have something!  Bless their hearts.

On Tuesday afternoon we had a meeting at the GA Atlanta Mission Home and met with President and Sister Harding.  What wonderful folks they are.  Made us feel right at home.

We will call PEACHTREE CITY our home for the next two years!

We have collected quite a bit of trash this week.  Found out where the local dumpster is.  Really easy to use and within walking distance of our apartment.

One of the local GROCERY STORES where I suspect I will shop off is this PUBLIX.  Great store....similar to Wegman's at home.

Seeing as how this is the 'typical' mode of transportation in Peachtree City, these signs are ALL OVER the City!  And they are so cute and look so fun......

I got to use our new GRILL that Joe and Ginny Lambdin recommended to us to get.  It has come in handy already.  I made Paninin Bologna and Cheese Sandwiches for dinner.  Great little machine.

A collage of our walk out on the trails Saturday night.  You can see that the cart were definitely in the MAJORITY!!!  Keep an eye to the Path!

We are in the WHITE WATER WARD.  Great ward.  We enjoyed being there today.  It seems to be a young ward.  I am sure we will enjoy our time here.

And with this.......I will conclude my report of our first week in our new Mission Field.  Looks like a busy week coming up!!!
