Kind of a quiet week for us.....or at least NO traveling for Zone Conferences.  Seemed strange to 'stay put'.  Wayne spent plenty of time on the phone, computer. texting, etc.  So we were busy .... just not traveling.  The leaves are beautiful now....fall is in full swing.  As we drove from Mt. Airy, N.C. back to PTC (Peachtree City) we could see a definite change in foliage based on the higher climate.

How funny was this!!  We noticed that most of the missionaries in our 'complex' were wearing shades of BLUE in their ties on this particular day.  Even Elder/Dr. Allgaier!!  Worthy of a foto don't you think.

One thing I got accomplished this week was Gary and Gail's afghan.....my cousin Gary.  It was in the mail on Wednesday, they received it on Friday!  One more completed.

More beautiful fall leaves here in Georgia this week.

On Thursday Wayne and I decided to take a day-trip up to Kennessaw, GA to see a few of the sights.  Perfect day to do that.  We visited the Kennessaw Railroad Museum where the "Genera" is housed.  It was one of two trains ("Texas" being the other one) involved in the 'Great Train Chase' during the Civil War.  After that we drove about 6 miles out to Kennessaw Mountain.  You could see all the way to Stone Mountain......below.....

.....and to Atlanta.  Absolutely perfect day to be on top of the mountain.

We then drove out to the Etowah Indian Mounds located just north of Cartersville.  That was well worth the trip to visit these ancient ruins.....much like the South American ancient ruins.  These Indian mounds dated back to about 1,000 A.D.

Yes, I know I have on 2 different shoes!  David was so sweet to pick up these two pair of shoes for me in Kowloon and have them shipped!!!  I had purchased a black pair while we were in Hong Kong and loved them.  I tried to order them on line but was having trouble.  David took care of that for me! Bless his heart.

'Tiger' is a neighbor's cat.  Tiger has taken a liking to us, apparently.  He feels very comfortable visiting and napping on our bed!!  AAHHHH.....

We love it when the missionaries drop by to say hi for no real reason at all.  L to R:  Elder Robinson, Elder Jones, Elder ??, Elder Lamb and Elder Robison.  They are all great!!

Elder Lamb was being transferred on this particular day....Saturday.  We stopped by to say our good-bye's even though we will see him at Zone Conferences, etc.  He is a great missionary and doing a great job.  This is his first transfer.

Wayne and I took the opportunity of going to the Atlanta Temple on Saturday morning.  It was good to be back here.  While we have been on the road traveling we have not been able to come to this temple!  Good to be back!!

Hard to believe that another month has come and gone.  Just like that!!  How does that happen??!!

I DO have my sewing machine with me, thank goodness!!!  I have made a few repairs on some of the missionaries clothes.  I made a repair on Wayne's shirt on Saturday.

Sunday was a rather relaxing day.  Wayne sometimes 'come out of his office' here in the apartment and works from the dining room table.  It helps to have him out of 'seclusion' and being seen by me!!!

And there we have yet another week!!!  We will see what happens this coming week!
