Sunday, February 1, 2015

Our weekend ended last week with a walk on the beach on Sunday afternoon.  It was still chilly, windy but the sun was at least shining.

Our HOTEL stays seem to be building up already for this new year.....2015.

And then it was back to Zone Conference.  We love our missionaries.  These are the AP's for the NCRM.

We LOVE seeing the RALEIGH TEMPLE.  We wish we could have gone inside but it was a Tuesday when we were attending Zone Conference and the temple is closed on Tuesdays.  :-(  Maybe next time.

We were able to 'catch' a couple of pretty sunrises from our hotel.  Love those pinkish-bluish colors.

We were able to have dinner with Elder & Sister Burnside and I made a crocheted Christmas doily for Sister Burnside.

We run into lots of different chapels throughout our travels.  All beautiful, of course.

These sweet sisters asked to 'like' me (and visa-versa) on FACEBOOK.  They get to do a 1-hour block each day with contacting on FACEBOOK!  That is amazing they get to do that in their mission.  We have become 'friends'!!

During lunch time the elder and sisters do a little exercise to wake themselves up.  Great energy.

We FINALLY got to meet the infamous Dr. Webber who takes care of so very many of our missionaries.  Sister Webber is the mission nurse.  Got to enjoy getting to know them.

When we got home we had a little package with a special gift inside.  Elder/Dr. and Sister Bean had a specially made Christmas tree ornament made for us.  We LOVE it.

AND we end yet another month.  January G.O.N.E. and a new month has begun.....FEBRUARY!

We were actually in town for the first time since November so we could attend our Whitewater Ward. Only we found out that it was STAKE CONFERENCE.  AND......we had a new Stake Presidency sustained.  What a spiritually uplifting meeting.  Elder Soares was here to make the change.  Good to see him again.

And again this coming week we will be ON THE ROAD AGAIN (I think it was Willie Nelson who sang a song about this).  Another GREAT WEEK!!!
