Oh, for heavens sake!!  How on earth do these weeks fly by so fast!!!  Every week we say we can not possibly be any busier and yet.....some how it happens!!!

We had a 'relaxing' 2 days at home before we hit the road again.  'Our Elders' that take care of our apartment were over on Monday.  They needed help with a little 'can you sew my button on my suit coat' project.  That would be Elder Parkins!!  SO, sure enough, we had a sewing lesson...only I don't think he was too much for learning how to do it.  No problem.....that is what I am here for!!

The neighborhood cats seemed to enjoy our being home for a couple of days.  Back left is 'Lucy' and to the right is 'Tyger' and inside the door is 'Blackie'!!!  They all love us and love it when we are home.

We LOVE Elder Dallas Thompson.  He was one of the missionaries here when we arrived in June 2014!  He helped us move in our apartment.  He completed his mission and made it home without me giving him his cross stitched Atlanta Temple hanging!!  Well, I took care of that.  I made it and mailed it to him at BYU-Idaho.

Wednesday arrived and we were off on our road trip to Kentucky!  We LOVE going yo Kentucky Louisville Mission.  We have a new mission nurse there that we needed to train.

And, of course, when we are in Kentucky, we always have to stop by the Slugger Bat Factory!  This was no different.....our stop there on the way to our hotel in New Albany, Indiana (across the river from Louisville).

Our training meeting on Thursday took place at the GKLM (Great Kentucky Louisville Mission Office) in Louisville.  This is their mission trailer.  WOW...look at that boot!!!  That is because their trailer had been stolen TWICE!!!  It was not going to happen again.....not with that BOOT attached to the wheel!!  Plus the security camera above...no way!

We LOVE President and Sister Brough!!!  They are just the best.  Elder/Dr. Allgaier sat in the 'president's chair' at Sister Brough's request so he could be in charge of the training.  Elder and Sister Boettcher will be great!!

L to R:  President and Sister Brough, Elder and Sister Boettcher, Elder/Dr. and Sister Allgaier.

As we left Louisville and headed back toward PTC, we stopped in Lexington, KY.  Beautiful horse country.  This is downtown Lexington and all it's beauty.

We got home Friday night.  I had a couple of little birthday gifts waiting for me....a little early but FUN!!  Lu sent me this cute little desk clock!

Becky sent me this adorable hand crocheted purse!!  Love it!

And this looks like another project ready for the making!!!  This will be a fun one to make.

I already have another afghan in the making.....but I usually have 2 - 3 things going at the same time.

Saturday Wayne and I were able to go to the Atlanta Temple for a few minutes to take care of some Family File sealings!  That was a very special time.  We were doing the work for Aunt Eva's grandparents, among others.

Saturday evening we were celebrating two birthdays......and had a birthday dinner at O'Charley's in Fayetteville, GA.

Elder Hardgrave and I had fun!!  We really enjoy spending time with Elder and Sister Hardgrave!!!  His birthday is the 11th with mine being the 12th.

As we were driving home we had a GORGEOUS sunset over Peachtree City.

After we got home the Elders came over again.  I think they like being with us.  Elder Parkins was sharing a spiritual thought with us.  He 'borrowed' Elder/Dr. Allgaier's Book of Mormon AND his reading glasses.  He just looked too cute not to take a foto!!

Elder Norlund and Elder Parkins both spoke in Sacrament Meeting today in the Whitewater Ward.  They both did GREAT jobs!!!  I handed my camera to them to take the next foto....but FIRST, a little selfie was in order......they are so sweet!!!

AND this is the foto I had asked them to take.....I made and gave a little Atlanta Temple to Jack, a recent convert.  Jack is a great guy and we have grown to love he and his son!!!

For lunch today, we had our leftover salmon from last nights dinner at O'Charley's.  It was so good.  AND THEN....we had Gigi Cupcakes for my BIRTHDAY cake since we will be driving tomorrow to North Carolina Raleigh Mission.  It was G.O.O.D. too!!!  Would totally get that again!

And, so there you have it.....yet another week flown by!  It promises to be a very busy, active week....hope we can keep up!  Zone conferences in the Raleigh Mission, one of their missionaries headed to the ER as I write this (with seizures!).  We'll see what we need to do when we get there!  We'll be back home to our apartment here in PTC in about 1 1/2 weeks.

ELDER SPENCER ALLGAIER.....IF YOU READ DOWN THIS FAR WE WANT TO WISH YOU A HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK!!!  CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WILL BE 19 YEARS OLD.  HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!!??  LOVE YOU.....BE SAFE AND HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY WEEK!!
