Yikes, the weeks are flying by......another month already!  Slow down world and let us enjoy our 'journey'!!

My 'reading' right now in the Book of Mormon is highlighting the 'Doctrine of Christ', while Dad's 'reading' focus in on the Geography/Records of the people.  This is what dad's Book of Mormon is looking like.  I will highlight mine.....maybe next week!

Our travels at the beginning of this week had us in the beautiful fall mountains of North Carolina....and it really looked like PEAK season!  Just LOVED this little fall scene along some back road we were on....

We enjoyed eating at the OVERY YONDER RESTAURANT near Boone, N.C. so much last week when we visited with my cousin, Gary Willard, and his wife Gail that we decided to go back for dinner again while in the area!!!  This time we got the fireplace table!!!  It was GREAT.  And, yes, Dad continued to work right through dinner while here.....but, that is what we are here for.  We are serving our mission wherever we go.

The dinner was FANTASTIC!!  I had the meatloaf again because I enjoyed it so much last time.  Dad had chicken.

The leaves were just gorgeous......

And the beauty just kept on coming!!

We stopped in Old Salem on our way back toward Peachtree City so we could see a couple of things we didn't get to see last week.....like this icon Coffeepot!  I remember seeing this all the time as a kid growing up in and around Winston-Salem, N.C.

We made our way back 'home'.  The Elders (Elder Norland and Elder Parkin) couldn't wait to see us.  They paid a visit and were anxious to show off their 'Halloween Costumes'!  Of course, they were NOT going to be going out but wanted to feel a part of 'it' anyway!!  They looked very sharp in them.

Rodney, our next door neighbor, wanted to pay a visit as well.  We dropped the bomb on us that he would be moving out on Thursday (and this was Tuesday night when he came over)!!!  We knew he would be moving but just not quite so soon!!!  We are so sad to see him go.  He has been a GREAT neighbor.

In the meantime, 'Lucy' has found a favorite perch for herself!!  On top of Dad's medical black bag!  How she can feel that being comfortable is beyond us.  She has only fallen off once while taking her naps.

AND Thursday arrived and it was moving time for Rodney!!!  To the left is a friend of Rodney's who came to help out.  FOUR Elders showed up to help......Elders Parkin and Norland along with the Spanish Elders.  And Dad, of course, was right there with them!

Rodney ended up having more than he thought he had.  It took 2 truck loads to move everything out and to his storage unit.

Rodney got to talking to Melissa and her friend as he was about to head out.  The girls live upstairs from us.  We all hate to see Rodney go.  You could not ask for a nicer neighbor than Rodney!!

On Friday afternoon we took our 'Miles For Jonathan' walk.  And look who we ran into!!!  They were actually driving past us, stopped to watch the Blue Angels practicing in the PTC area and, well, we just had to take a little selfie!  That is just what missionaries do when they get together.

The weather was actually beautiful on Friday......blue sky and beautiful colors on some of the trees!

With Trick or Treating in full swing Saturday afternoon/evening, this was the sight at the Balmoral Office......these children from India were not celebrating Trick or Treat but rather some type of 'tradition' that is done in India.

Saturday morning was a very rainy, overcast day but we headed up to the temple.  Great to be in the Atlanta Temple again......it has been several weeks because of our travels.

I take every minute I can get to work on crocheting projects!  This was no exception today.

Even though the weather was yucky on Saturday afternoon, it was a perfect time for us to finish our 46 #milesforjonathan challenge!!!  And that we did.....just on time and with 2/10 mile to spare!

We were in the Whitewater Ward on Sunday.  That is where we attend when we are in town.....at least for the most part!  This is a recent convert, Jack!  He is GREAT.  He is quite the handyman and always willing to share his talent.  He recently made dad a GREAT knife and very sharp too.  Dad was complaining that his pocket knife he bought in Finland had gotten dull.  Jack said to dad..."let me see it a minute"!  Well, Jack reaches into his pouch thingie and pulls out a knife sharpener and proceeds to sharpen dad's knife right there in the back of Sunday School class!!!  What a guy!!!

And, thus, we end yet another week and another month.  Don't tell anyone, BUT, we only have about 6 months left on this, our 3rd mission!  Oh my goodness.  Can we slow down a bit when we get home this time??  :-)  We love what we do and feel very blessed.  We love our family and friends for their love our support as we try to do the best that we can.  Kiitos Paljon!!  Thank you very much......until next week and more adventures I am sure!
